Study: Microbial community associated with Stenotus rubrovittatus
show Abstracthide Abstract
Rice is one of major and important crops in Japan and Asia. The sorghum plant bug, Stenotus rubrovittatus (Order: Heteroptera, Family: Miridae), is one of the notorious pest insects of rice in Japan, which feeds rice grains and causes pecky rice. In this study, to further understand the physiology and ecology of this host insect, we investigated the microbiota associated with the rice pest S. rubrovittatus.
Sample: Associated microbiota of Stenotus rubrovittatus KRH-F
